Welcome! My name is Bex. Thank you for joining me in the campaign for equal rights and opportunity for women in Aotearoa and beyond.
A little about me:
I am a white, middle class, straight woman. I come from a place of privilege trying to navigate the complexities of intersectionality in feminist thought and action.
I am a social worker in South Auckland; much of my writing is informed by the realities of women that I work alongside on a daily basis.
I am an advocate for former refugees; I am inspired by the strength and bravery of women who have overcome war and oppression to make their way to this land.
